Five White buses from the collection in a gentle arc above the photograph of a real White bus (though not the same vehicle as the toy) gives an example nonetheless of how Sun tried to use both reality and fantasy to ensure enduring popular its toys.
This is a blue bus, shiny but a bit splotchy from age, similar to the age spots we older folks develop over time -- including yours truly. The view is along the driver side from the front quarter to the rear. The entire vehicle is blue including the more common silvered windows and trim. The white wheels have aged but held up well. The grill and headlights look the style of the times, indeed somewhat like the front of an Airflow. From there on the body uses curves down the length of the roof and sides. The front wheel wells openings are very high, revealing the entirety of the wheel and tire. Behind the wheel, there is a door for passengers, and
