The toys in the Museum collection represent the cars, trucks, and tractors that had to navigate these roads every day. We salute them for we never would have had the roads we have if not for them.

The Museum curator (yes,that would be me) stumbled upon rubber toys entirely by accident one evening while performing some random searches on eBay for slush metal toy vehicles and airplanes. Including the word "rubber" in the search resulted in a variety of toys with rubber wheels, yes, but also toys made entirely of rubber (and vinyl). Also included in the result were soldiers, farm plows and harvesters, and a large number of tractors in a variety of sizes. With the tractors were a farmer and wife, their faithful dog, and a variety of well made farm animals. It was a stunning eye-opener!
