This photo shows the large (AM01) and small (AM02) Marmon-Harrington tanks and the large howitzer AM03. All are dark Army green in color. The tanks have silver wheels and trim, and a tank commander. A World War I poster encouraging enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps.
This is a grouping of WWI era army command figures. There is a walking officer with swagger stick, an officer on horseback, a marching soldier and a soldier with signal flags. Coat and tie as well as leggigs were apparently de riguer for Auburn WWI soldiers except command figures.They wear knee high boots and officers' hats. The flagman is also an exception as he wears full length pants without leggings. His flags are divided in half diagonally in red and white. This group of fighting solders includes an advancing infantryman, a machine gunner, a kneeling soldier using binoculars, a standing soldier throwing a hand-grenade, and a crawling soldier.
This is an antiaircraft grouping including a soldier manning a searchlight, another operating an antiaircraft gun, and a third operating a sound detector (three large directional detection cones). This picture groups two medics carrying a wounded soldier on a stretcher.
Here we have an army green cab-over truck with a shield decal. At the top, the words U.S. Army. Just below it, a narrow blue bar with five white stars. The bottom of the shield has six narrow red vertial bars divided by white. This, too, is an army truck, but in brown. It has no shield. Instead, the letters U.S.A. are stamped in red on the sides of the truck bed.
This is another photo of the two Auburn tanks (one large, one small) with an advancing soldier between them. The soldier seems too large, but in fact these were light tanks and small, with perhaps only a two-man crew in this version. It was more a WWII tank than WWI (having been produced in the 1930's. The toys appeared in the 1940 and 1941 catalogs along with the WWI and the WWII soldiers. This is a picture of the two versions of the AM02 tank from the underside. Shown are the single and the double axle versions. The axles are wrapped in paper in both versions.
At some point, perhaps when the desert campaign against Rommel in the North African desert raged, Auburn added this brown version of the AM01 tank. Auburn sold wonderful rubber motorcycles (which cannot be said, in my opinion,of the later vinyl versions despite fine detail and good quality). This photo shows the large and small motorcycle cops riding red bikes and wearing blue uniforms and sunglasses. Also, a military bike with sidecar, driver, and passenger gunner, and a scout version with saddlebags and rifle scabbard. He wears a pistol. The detail on the scout motorcycle and rider is excellent with army brown bike, and leathers, brown boots, saddle bags and scabbard, and silver holster. The rifle stock is grey. All Auburn rubber motorcycles have white rubber tires.

This photo shows the army green howitzer with silver barrel from the front quarter. It has two large black rubber tires. This is a picture of the military doctor and nurse, both in white. The nurse wears a dress with a blue belt and neck scarf, and a white nurses cap with red cross. The doctor wears a white suit (with blue stripes down the front creases), black tie and belt with harness, and a white officer's cap with red cross. His jacket has four large pockets, but the nurse has no pockets, but a decorative blue stripe around the cuffs. The doctor appears to be carrying a helmet in his right hand but ... ? He and she have back shoes and he sports a black tie.
