Seiberling Latex Products Co., ca. 1935-39 (3 Views) M60 Home     Toy Gallery

Seiberling autos are very hard to photograph. The colors seemingly dissolve into individual dots and nothing can be done to make them right. This photo is my protest against this problem. A 1935 Ford two door sedan with a slant back and trunk lid mounted spare is shown is bright purple with turquoise tires. It's an eye-catcher.

This is the same car noted above, this time with an attempt at the true color. Instead the car is a mottled green with bright yellow tires. In the foreground the car is shown along the passenger side, behind it it is shown along the driver's side. In both photos the Seiberling elves done for Walt Disney admire the sedans. Here the little Ford cars are shown, one blue and one red, facing right, coming together fender to fender. These Seiberling cars have quite large, somewhat bulbous hubs.
