Smith-Corona "Superspeed"(6 views) M60 Home     Corona Gallery

This is one of the several "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" typewriters in the collection. She has her dignity intact, but like Scarlett O'Hara at the end of "Gone with the Wind", she has little more left than her genteel poverty. She needs much more cleaning, obviously, and the textured paint has rubbed thin and smooth in many areas. Painting this Superspeed some gleaming, smooth color is an appealing option limited mainly by the silver bands and the decals that may be difficult to protect or replace.
